Governors' Vision
Our vision is to be recognised by Parents, Senior Schools and the wider community as a leading boy's Preparatory School, delivering excellence for our pupils and staff alike, in a supportive, pleasant and focused environment. We will provide opportunities for excellence in academic and cultural subjects as well as in sporting, social, community, leadership and team skills.
Our purpose is to ensure that our pupils and staff are ready, able and willing to be part of, contribute to, and be successful in, the society of today, tomorrow and the future.
Our Ethos is to provide a Christian, caring environment in which each pupil is valued for himself, in which each is given the opportunity for full development, and in which all concerned - pupils, staff and governors - strive for excellence.
Our culture will be based on our four key values:
- Respect for the Individual Uncompromising Integrity and Trust
- Credibility Continuous Improvement and Personal Renewal
- Recognition and Celebration Individuality, Leadership and Teamwork
- These are encapsulated for the boys in Terry's Fair Rules
We will achieve our vision by adherence to our purpose and ethos, and by achieving excellence in these six areas:
- First class staff
- First class curriculum and pupil support
- First class facilities
- Financial affairs
- Terry's Fair Rules
- First class Leadership, Management & Governance
We use these all these dimensions to help us in the running of the school. We ask ourselves the simple question:
"Is what we are doing, or proposing to do, consistent with our ethos, purpose and values?"
