Dr. Oliver Bangham - Chairman

Oliver brings to the board his extensive experience of advanced thinking in quality, management and leadership processes, and has been instrumental in focussing the board on strategic issues. He has been associated with the school since his boys started in there in the eighties, and has served as a member and Chairman of the Parents' Association, joining the Board in 1996 and becoming Chairman in 2000.

Mrs. Joy Coffer - Vice Chair

During her twenty five years as a Solicitor specialising in Criminal Law Joy also gained wide experience in law firm management, becoming an active member of the Law Society's Practice Development Committtee, and running her own practice. A keen supporter of the School and former parent she joined the Board in 2003.

Mr. Robert Rosenthal - Finance

Robert is a former parent of Terry's whose two sons attended the school throughout the period 1983 to 1994. He is a Chartered Accountant by profession, and acted as Treasurer of the Parents Association for several years. Robert was appointed as a Governor in 2004.

Dr. Dinesh Chavda

Dinesh is a Consultant Psychiatrist practicing in London.He has wide experiance in all subspecialities of Psychiatry and was the Chair of Drugs & Therapeutics Committee for many years.He has a special interest in Forensic Psychiatry and the impact of mental illness on family dynamics.
His son was at Terrys before moving on to Merchant Taylors.

Mrs. Colette Doke

Colette has taught both the state and private sectors. Her son was at Terry's before moving on to Merchant Taylors' School.

Mr. Alan Eastwood

Alan is an Old Terryer and a chartered accountant having worked for many years in international banking in the City. Alan fondly remembers his Terry's days and had no hesitation or regrets in sending his two boys there in the early nineties.

Mr. Bhasker Mehta

Bhasker is a dental surgeon who qualified in 1980. He has a keen interest in education and in the development of Terry's. Both his boys were at Terry's.

mr. kevin riley

Kevin Riley BA Med became Headmaster of The John Lyon School in 2005.
He was Head Master of Bristol Cathedral School from 1993 and also taught
English, Drama and Games at Wolverhampton Grammar School and Pocklington
School. He was educated at Norwich School, UCW Aberystwyth and Bristol
University. He has represented the Independent Sector on ASCL Council
since 2001 and HMC on the International Confederation of Principals
Council since 2004. His interests include travel, the developing world,
theatre and sport. He is married with three sons.

Mrs. Sue Symonds

Sue was a parent at Terry's for a number of years during which time she had a close association with the school as a member of the Parents Association. Her son left the school in 2003 and she is looking forward to serving the school as a Governor.

Mr. Stephen Wright

Stephen is Head of Merchant Taylors' School and has had 24 years teaching experience both in the maintained and independent sectors, 10 in senior management. He has previously served for six years as a Governor in a maintained secondary school.
