Northwood Prep Eco-Programme

Recycle for learning is the paper recycling we use at school.  The scheme is based in Hemel Hempstead where paper is collected and made into new paper in a paper Mill.  The school has visited the site for the last 2 years.

The Hertfordshire council has many energy saving schemes set up. 

 

They often run school competitions including the ‘Yellow Woods challenge’ encouraging schools to bring in old yellow pages.

Recyclezone is a child friendly site all about recycling.  It includes a rapping robot about the 3Rs—reduce, reuse and recycle which is very popular with the boys!
